Civil Engineer - Transportation

Description

• Design roadway system improvements and related transportation structures under the guidance of a Senior Engineer.
• Prepare plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
• Perform technical studies and prepare technical documents such as Project Reports.
• Develop appropriate preliminary concepts and layouts.
• Oversee and mentor entry-level staff.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• California Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in roadway design projects.
• Expert in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design-related software.
• Experience using roadway design standards such as Caltrans Highway Design Manual and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
