The responsibilities of a Family Law Litigation Attorney in our Firm are to represent and advise clients in various family cases.

Compensation:$80,000 - $110,000 yearly + bonus potential + benefits DOE
Responsibilities:
Represent clients in family law matters, ensuring their best interests are always at the forefront.
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and client representation.
Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements, with precision and clarity.
Appear in court to advocate for clients, presenting cases effectively and confidently.
Manage case files diligently, ensuring all documentation is organized and deadlines are met.
Engage in discovery processes, including depositions and interrogatories, to gather pertinent information.
Negotiate settlements with opposing parties, aiming for favorable outcomes for clients while maintaining professionalism and integrity at all times.
Qualifications:
What You Need:
Licensed to practice law in West Virginia.
Prior family law experience is preferred but not required.
Excellent courtroom presence and legal writing skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong communication and client relationship abilities.
Confidence under pressure and compassion for people in crisis.
Willingness to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to track and enter time daily.
The Family Law Litigation Attorney will have a four-year bachelor’s degree, a Juris Doctor degree, and be licensed to practice law in West Virginia.
