Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Job Description
Looking for a Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a Skilled Nursing Facility at Mohawk Meadows Nursing Home in Lafayette Township, NJ. We are offering competitive compensation ranging from $55–$65/hour and a supportive clinical environment.
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide quality speech therapy services including evaluations, screenings, treatment planning, and follow-through with plan of care.
• Complete timely documentation including daily notes, progress reports, evaluations, and discharge summaries.
• Treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Work closely with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient care.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on therapy goals, progress, and therapeutic techniques.
• Ensure compliance with facility protocols and state/federal regulations.
Experience & Qualifications:
• Valid NJ SLP License required
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
• Knowledge of dysphagia and cognitive rehabilitation preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience with Net Health/Rehab Optima is a plus
