Seeking a Physical Therapist to provide individualized care that helps patients achieve their functional goals. This role requires a strong focus on direct patient care, collaboration, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation. Adjust care plans as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with other healthcare professionals and support staff to achieve positive patient outcomes.
Supervision: Direct the assistance of support staff to help patients reach their functional goals.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, treatment goals, and plans.
Professional Development: Stay current on professional literature and participate in educational programs to enhance your skills and act as a resource for other staff.
Compliance: Adhere to all hospital and departmental policies for quality improvement, safety, and infection control.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved program.
License: Must hold a current license from the Montana State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
Skills: You must be able to remain calm in emergency situations and have the knowledge and skills to care for patients of all ages.
Physical: This role requires extensive standing, walking, bending, and kneeling. You must be able to lift up to 75 pounds when lifting, positioning, or transferring patients.
