Key Objectives
- Assist engineering staff in the design, development, and testing of products and systems.
- Support manufacturing processes by providing technical expertise and troubleshooting assistance.
- Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to quality standards throughout project lifecycles.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers to prepare and modify technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Conduct tests and inspections on materials, components, and assemblies to verify compliance with design requirements.
- Operate and maintain laboratory and workshop equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist in the assembly, installation, and calibration of prototypes and production units.
- Document test results, report findings, and recommend improvements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying potential process enhancements.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all engineering data is up-to-date and accessible.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate degree or technical diploma in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering principles.
- Proficiency with measurement tools and testing equipment.
- Familiarity with CAD software and basic computer skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
