Benefits:
School-Based | Galveston County | Full-Time or Part-Time Opportunities
Milestones Matter Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school-based team serving students in Galveston County. We are looking for a therapist who is compassionate, dependable, professional, collaborative, and genuinely enjoys working with children.
This position is ideal for an SLP who enjoys the school setting but also wants the support and connection of a private practice team. Our school-based therapists work with students with a wide range of communication needs while collaborating with teachers, families, special education staff, and other professionals.
We value therapists who provide individualized, strengths-based care, build meaningful relationships with students, and bring creativity and energy to their therapy sessions.
Responsibilities
We want someone who is more than clinically capable. We are looking for an SLP who will be a great addition to our team.
Fun and engaging. You know school-based therapy can still be creative, motivating, and something students look forward to.
Flexible. School schedules change. Meetings happen. Fire drills happen. You can adjust while still getting the job done.
Professional. You represent Milestones Matter Therapy well and communicate respectfully with administrators, teachers, parents, and other professionals.
Organized and dependable. You manage your caseload, documentation, deadlines, and schedule responsibly.
Honest and communicative. If you need help or something isn't working, you communicate with us. We value transparency and teamwork.
Student-centered. You recognize that communication goals should make a meaningful difference in a student's ability to participate and succeed at school.
Why Milestones Matter Therapy?
Working in the schools doesn't mean you have to work alone. As part of Milestones Matter Therapy, you'll have access to a supportive team of speech-language pathologists, opportunities for collaboration and mentorship, and a practice that understands the realities of providing quality services in the school setting.
We're looking for clinicians who want to build relationships with their schools, provide excellent therapy, and be part of a team that values both clinical quality and the people providing it.
