What You'll Do

As a COTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide skilled interventions designed to improve residents' functional independence. Your day may include:

  • Providing skilled ADL and IADL training

  • Therapeutic activities and exercises

  • Functional mobility and transfer training

  • Cognitive and safety interventions

  • Adaptive equipment training

  • Fine motor and coordination activities

  • Patient and caregiver education

  • Documenting treatments, progress, and clinical response

  • Communicating with the OT and interdisciplinary team regarding resident progress

  • Helping residents achieve meaningful, individualized functional goals

What We're Looking For

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

  • Current, valid COTA license/certification in Georgia

  • CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Passion for working with the geriatric population

  • Previous SNF/LTC experience preferred, but not required

  • New graduates are encouraged to apply!
