Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders for residents with a wide range of conditions. This role is ideal for clinicians who are flexible, passionate about patient care, and thrive in a collaborative interdisciplinary setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Provide evidence-based therapy services to patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and effective care.

  • Educate patients, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility, state, and federal guidelines.

  • Participate in discharge planning and recommend appropriate follow-up services.

  • Comply with HIPAA regulations and facility policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

  • Current Florida licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates may be considered).

  • CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).

  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
