Physical Therapist

St. Catherine of Siena Nursing and Rehabilitation is committed to improving our patients' quality of life & autonomy through innovative rehabilitative services, and an exceptional level of client-centered care and attention. We are seeking a diligent and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Smithtown.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide rehabilitation services and complete Evaluations/Screens
• Develop and improve the skills needed for the daily functioning of residents
• Accurately completes and documents all treatment procedures and functional mobility tasks in a timely manner
• Provide education on selected treatment procedures and functional activities to patients, their families, and other healthcare providers
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
• Hold licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York
• 1-year Physical Therapy experience in LTC setting preferred
