Gibson Electrical LLC. is seeking experienced Journeymen Electricians for commercial and industrial electrical projects. We are looking for motivated, safety-focused professionals with strong technical knowledge, leadership abilities, and experience working in fast-paced jobsite environments.Responsibilities:Install, maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial and industrial electrical systems and equipmentRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, layouts, specifications, and electrical schematicsPerform electrical testing using diagnostic equipment including voltmeters, meggers, circuit tracers, and ground resistance metersInstall and repair electrical components, wiring, devices, and equipmentPerform underground, wall, and overhead layout work using lasers and grade sticksConduct QA/QC inspections to ensure installation accuracy and code complianceWork safely while following all company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety proceduresOperate ladders, scaffolding, lifts, skid steers, excavators, and boom lifts as neededCommunicate effectively with Foremen, crews, Project Managers, and leadershipMentor apprentices and less experienced electriciansMaintain current knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), Ohio regulations, and local code requirementsRequired Qualifications:State of Ohio Journeyman CertificationStrong working knowledge of the NECExperience with commercial and industrial electrical installationsExperience troubleshooting electrical systems and controlsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProfessional attitude with strong organizational and communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:OSHA 30Fire Alarm CertificationArc Flash CertificationAdditional Requirements:Valid Driver's License, clean driving record, and reliable transportation to office and job sites requiredAbility to pass drug/alcohol testing requiredMust own tools and understand proper tool usageAbility to lift, carry, and move 50+ pounds and perform physical work, including but not limited to sitting, standing, bending, walking, reaching, climbing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, etc.Ability to work at heights, on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated platforms using proper fall protectionAbility to work in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and wind.
