We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dedicated team at Cumberland Nursing and Rehab, the nation's largest providers of post-acute care. About the Role:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide high-quality physical therapy services to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans

  • Conducting exercises, and activities to improve patients' mobility, strength, and function

  • Monitoring patients' progress and reporting any changes to the physical therapist

  • Educating patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises

  • Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the healthcare team

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with patient evaluations and assessments

  • Developing and implementing treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist

  • Providing individualized and group therapy sessions

  • Maintaining accurate records and reports

  • Communicating effectively with the healthcare team

  • Educating patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program

  • Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
