Pay: $19.00–$20.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Schedule:
1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Occasional Saturdays)
2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Occasional Saturdays)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team in a full-time temp-to-hire position. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy forklifts in construction, steel, manufacturing, or other industrial environments. This position requires precision, reliability, and a strong commitment to workplace safety while handling heavy and oversized materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a heavy forklift to transport materials throughout construction, industrial, or metal-handling facilities

• Load and unload heavy materials from trucks, storage areas, and production workstations

• Handle large, heavy, and irregularly shaped materials with care and efficiency

• Properly stack, secure, and transport materials to prevent damage and ensure workplace safety

• Perform daily forklift inspections and routine equipment maintenance checks

• Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA regulations

• Assist with general warehouse and material handling duties as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating heavy forklifts in construction, steel, manufacturing, or industrial environments

• Ability to safely maneuver large and heavy loads with accuracy

• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safe material handling practices

• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification if required

• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and in various weather environments

• Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe workplace

• Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials as required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience handling steel beams, metal products, or oversized industrial materials

• Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, or metal fabrication environments
