Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and proactive Carts/Maintenance Associate to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both customers and employees. This role is essential to daily store operations, focusing on cart collection, general cleanliness, and routine maintenance tasks throughout the store and parking lot.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure an adequate supply of carts is always available at store entrances by regularly retrieving them from the parking lot and store interior.
• Perform routine trash removal from designated bins inside and outside the store.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms on a regular schedule and as needed throughout the day.
• Promptly respond to and clean up spills or debris on the sales floor to maintain a safe shopping environment.
• Sweep and maintain cleanliness of store floors, walkways, and entry areas.
• Complete nightly cleaning of the store’s kitchen area, including surfaces, floors, and equipment as assigned.
• Assist with additional maintenance or cleaning duties as directed by store management.
• Report any safety concerns, damaged equipment, or maintenance needs promptly.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial, maintenance, or retail store experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 40 lbs] throughout the shift.

• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
