Staffing Coordinator Responsibilities
  • Create, manage, and maintain daily and weekly staffing schedules

  • Ensure adequate staffing coverage for all shifts

  • Track and document call-offs, tardiness, and schedule changes

  • Coordinate open shifts and communicate staffing needs with department leaders

  • Partner with Human Resources on recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and employee retention efforts

  • Schedule interviews with recruiters and department managers

  • Assist with employee performance review processes as needed

  • Maintain accurate staffing records and reports

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare staffing regulations and company policies

  • Build positive relationships with employees while supporting daily staffing operations

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

  • Minimum of two years of staffing coordination experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred

  • UKG experience preferred

  • Strong scheduling, organizational, and multitasking skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of healthcare staffing regulations and compliance standards

  • Proficiency with scheduling systems and Microsoft Office

Schedule
  • Full-Time

  • Must participate as Manager on Duty (MOD) when scheduled
