We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team in beautiful Traverse City, Michigan. In this full-time role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping adult and geriatric patients improve communication, cognitive function, and swallowing abilities in a supportive post-acute/skilled nursing setting.

What You'll Do
  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
  • Provide evidence-based interventions to improve communication and swallowing safety
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and compensatory techniques
  • Collaborate with PTs, PTAs, OTs, OTAs, nursing staff, physicians, and care teams
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with Medicare and regulatory standards
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning to support optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and organizational skills
  • Experience in Skilled Nursing (SNF), Post-Acute Care, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Long-Term Care, Home Health, or Outpatient Therapy is preferred but not required
  • New graduates and Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
