Die Man – Forge Department

Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Die Man to join our Forge Department. This position is responsible for locating, preparing, maintaining, and assisting with the fabrication and assembly of dies and trimmers used in the manufacturing process.
The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing experience, forklift experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift to safely locate, move, prepare, and position dies and trimmers.
  • Assist with the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of die-making equipment.
  • Locate and retrieve dies as needed for production and quoting purposes.
  • Inspect and maintain dies and trimmers to ensure they are ready for production.
  • Assist with the fabrication and assembly of dies.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and identify equipment or tooling concerns.
  • Follow established work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Communicate equipment, tooling, or production concerns to management.
  • Perform additional duties and related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1–3 years of manufacturing or industrial operations experience required.
  • Previous forklift operating experience preferred.
  • Experience working with dies, tooling, forging equipment, or other industrial machinery is a plus.
  • Mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, management, and other departments.
