Location: West Chester, OH
3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 10:30PM - 6:30AM
Starting Pay: $18/hr
Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Machine Operator to join our glass manufacturing team. This position involves operating machinery to cut, polish, and temper glass according to customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment.
We are looking for a dedicated Machine Operator to join our glass manufacturing team. This position involves operating machinery to cut, polish, and temper glass according to customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate glass machinery and equipment to cut, polish, and temper glass
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to ensure accuracy
- Assist with loading and unloading glass materials using an overhead crane
- Use hand and power tools to complete custom and detailed work
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE, including steel-toed boots
- Participate in cross-training across multiple production areas
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis
- Basic math and measurement skills; must be able to read a tape measure accurately
- Ability to read and understand blueprints or technical drawings

Experience preferred in one or more of the following:
- CNC milling or machine operation
- Construction or metal fabrication
- Custom design work
- Overhead crane operation
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable attendance and positive attitude
