Location: Clackamas, OR
Pay Rate: $28–$32 per hour DOE
Position Type: Full-Time, Direct-Hire
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM

A Night in the Life
  • Kickoff: Start with a safety huddle, review priority work orders, and line status for the shift.
  • Proactive care: Complete scheduled preventive maintenance on conveyors, servo-driven systems, and plant utilities to prevent unplanned downtime.
  • Rapid response: When an issue hits—whether it’s a misaligned conveyor, hydraulic leak, or an electrical fault—you diagnose methodically and restore operation.
  • Hands-on repairs: Use AC/DC welding and oxygen/acetylene cutting to repair brackets, guards, and chutes; swap bearings and belts; tighten chains; and align shafts.
  • Electrical troubleshooting: Safely work with 120/208/240/480-volt systems, read schematics, identify failed components, and execute precise repairs.
  • Safety at the core: Apply strict Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures and respect all equipment safety shutoffs before every intervention.
  • Close-out: Document work performed, communicate status to teammates, and stage parts for the next shift.
What You’ll Handle
  • Preventive maintenance and routine troubleshooting across all production machinery.
  • General mechanical, basic electrical, welding, and carpentry tasks to complete work orders on time.
  • Safe operation of AC/DC welders, oxygen/acetylene torches, forklifts, and a full range of hand and power tools.
  • Daily task prioritization aligned with production needs.
  • Clear communication and accurate completion of maintenance paperwork.
What You Bring
  • Experience: 2–3 years of verifiable experience in industrial mechanics, industrial welding, and industrial hydraulics.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred (or equivalent combination of education, training, and hands-on experience).
  • Licensing: Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Physical Capabilities
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly and push/pull loaded materials.
  • Comfort working on ladders and catwalks; move around, under, and on top of machinery in a dynamic plant setting.
Core Skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, dependable basic math, and sharp attention to detail.
  • Clear English communication (written and spoken) to read manuals, follow safety guidelines, and complete work orders.
