As an Occupational Therapist at The Orchards at Niles, you will play a vital role in helping our residents maintain their independence and achieve their highest level of functioning. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced OT to join our dynamic rehabilitation team.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each resident
Conduct thorough assessments to identify resident strengths, weaknesses, and limitations
Utilize various therapy techniques and strategies to improve resident mobility, strength, and coordination
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication
Participate in resident care conferences and provide progress reports to family members and caregivers
Requirements:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with older adults and individuals with dementia
Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
