Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Location: Morningstar Residential Care Center – Oswego, New York
Pay: Up to $46/hour + $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS!
Schedule: Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled OT services in accordance with physician orders and professional standards

• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence and daily living skills

• Perform evaluations, annual screens, and nursing-requested assessments

• Document treatments, progress, and billing in compliance with state and federal regulations

• Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques and equipment

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and interdisciplinary team members

• Participate in care meetings, in-services, and ongoing education

• Maintain patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance

You’ll serve as a key partner in helping residents regain confidence, independence, and dignity.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

• Bachelor’s Degree required (Master’s preferred, if applicable)

• Certified and holds a valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice

• Geriatric experience preferred
