Position Title: Mentee Coach
Reports To: Director of Programs
Location: Extraordinary Charities, 2635 Old Okeechobee Rd, West Palm Beach, FL 33409
Hours: Part-Time (15-20 hours per week; flexible with some evenings/weekends as needed)
Compensation: $15 to $18 per hour


Position Summary:
Path to College is seeking a highly organized and relationship-driven Mentee Coach to support our dynamic mentorship program. This team member will play an essential role in helping maintain strong mentor-mentee connections, keeping records up to date, and assisting in the creation of thoughtful mentor-mentee matches. Reporting to the Director of Programs, the College Coach will provide both administrative and interpersonal support to ensure mentors and students are set up for a successful and rewarding experience.


Key Responsibilities:
Mentor-Mentee Relationship Support

  • Conduct check-ins with mentees to encourage active participation and strong engagement with their mentors
  • Help resolve any challenges or concerns that arise in mentor-mentee relationships, offering support or flagging issues as needed
  • Facilitate clear communication between mentors, mentees, and staff to strengthen relationships



Administrative & Matching Coordination

  • Support mentor onboarding by helping collect required documents, tracking training completion, and maintaining up-to-date files
  • Keep organized digital records for all mentor and mentee profiles, including match documentation and communications
  • Create personalized mentor and mentee profile cards that reflect interests, goals, and background to support effective matches



Program Communication & Engagement

  • Coordinate scheduling of key touch points between mentors, mentees, and staff
  • Assist with planning and executing mentor events, trainings, and match-related activities
  • Send timely communications to mentors and mentees with updates, reminders, and helpful resources



Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or actively pursuing bachelor’s degree
  • Experience working or volunteering with youth, especially high school students
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and online platforms to track information and stay organized
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on details
  • Friendly, approachable, and supportive attitude toward both students and adult volunteers
