We are currently seeking a full-time Associate Litigation Attorney located in our Charleston, WV office. Position Overview: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling mass litigation matters, including multidistrict litigation (MDL), class actions, and complex product liability or consumer claims. This role requires someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a high-volume caseload with precision and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Handle all aspects of litigation, from pre-suit investigation through trial and appealDraft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discoveryConduct and defend depositionsDevelop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneysAttend hearings, mediations, and trialsCommunicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team membersRequirements:J.D. from an accredited law schoolActive and in good standing with the West Virginia Bar2-3+ years of litigation experience, with a strong emphasis on mass litigationExperience with MDLs, class actions, or large-scale product liability litigation strongly preferredExcellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentIn addition to a competitive compensation package, Flaherty offers an excellent benefits package that includes firm-recognized holidays, health, dental, and vision insurance, short and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, and a generous 401(k) plan.Flaherty Sensabaugh Bonasso PLLC serves local, national, and international clients in the areas of litigation and transactional law.
