Operator - Hydrovac

Position Summary:Responsible for the successful completion of hydro excavation projects including: utility line exposure, debris removal, slot trenching and digging.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Qualifications:Work outdoors - perhaps in some extreme climatesOperate hydrovac trucks and equipment in a safe and professional manner, ensure hydrovac truck and all equipment are in good working conditionPreform pre and post inspections, as well as routine maintenanceMust be able to sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach and crawl repetitivelyMust be capable of working extended hours and variable shiftsHAZWOPPER, TENORM, H2S, Confine Space and Rescue, First Aid, training preferredOSHA 10, required within 30 days of hireAssist fellow crew members wherever required to get the job done (may entail manual labor and/or be outside your ticketed trade) CDL preferredMay work around some hazardous materialHydrovac experience preferredSet up and inspect grounding and/ or bonding procedures for hydrovac operationPersonal Protective equipment (PPE) requiredMust be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screeningDriver's License requiredComplete all required paperwork properly and submit on timeEducationHigh School Diploma or GED required Martin Construction, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer
