About the role
As a seasonal Holiday Lighting Technician, you'll install, maintain, and remove professional-grade LED lighting displays from roughly October through January. It's hands-on, outdoor, up-on-a-ladder work with a great crew and real pride in the finished result. No holiday-lighting experience needed — we'll train you.

About the role
As a seasonal Holiday Lighting Technician, you'll install, maintain, and remove professional-grade LED lighting displays from roughly October through January. It's hands-on, outdoor, up-on-a-ladder work with a great crew and real pride in the finished result. No holiday-lighting experience needed — we'll train you.
What you'll do
- Install commercial-grade LED displays to plan — rooflines, landscaping, trees, wreaths, and garlands — on homes and commercial properties
- Work safely at heights on ladders and rooftops (single- and two-story), following all ladder, fall-protection, and electrical-safety protocols
- Build clean, finished displays: custom-fit measurement, straight lines, even spacing, hidden cords, secure fasteners
- Test and troubleshoot displays and handle in-season service calls
- Load, organize, and care for materials, tools, and the truck; keep every job site tidy
- Take down, label, and store displays carefully after the season
- Represent Sparkle Squad on customer property — uniformed, courteous, and clean
What it takes
- Comfortable working at heights and steady on a ladder or roof — no fear of heights
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, climb, kneel, reach, and stand for long stretches, outdoors in cold and variable weather
- Reliable and punctual, especially through the November–December peak (includes some Saturdays)
- Detail-oriented and proud of clean, finished work
- 18 or older with a valid SC driver's license and a safe driving record
- Friendly and presentable on a customer's property; a team player
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen

- Experience in holiday lighting, electrical, roofing, construction, landscaping, or handyman work
- Comfort with ladders, hand tools, and working outdoors
