Maintenance Assistant Technician (1st Shift 6a-230p)
Job Summary:
Pleasant Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant Technician to join our facilities team on our 1st shift. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall upkeep and maintenance of our campus, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Maintenance Assistant Technician Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: repairing, replacing, and installing equipment, fixtures, and appliances
Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Director or his assistant, the Maintenance Tech has responsibility for the boiler room, electrical room, mechanical room and all mechanical equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner
Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify potential maintenance needs and address issues promptly
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime
Operates Pleasant Acres motor vehicles
Maintenance Assistant Technician Requirements:
Requires extensive and progressive experience in Maintenance work with appropriate schooling or tech certification, but not necessary.
May be required to work overtime as assigned or requested (snow removal, disasters, etc.)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Valid driver's license (may be required for certain tasks)
