Responsibilities:
Assist occupational therapists in designing and implementing individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of our residents
Conduct daily assessments and evaluations to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Provide occupational therapy interventions to promote resident independence, mobility, and overall well-being
Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, residents, and families to ensure seamless care coordination
Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident progress and treatment plans
Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in occupational therapy

Additional Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Current OT Assistant certification in the State of New York
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift, transfer, and support residents as needed
