Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Per Diem

About the Role:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at Mohawk Meadows Rehab and Nursing Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, providing assessment, treatment, and consultation services to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional care, and we are seeking a talented and compassionate SLP to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with communication and swallowing disorders, including assessments of speech, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing function

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' communication and swallowing needs

  • Provide direct patient care, including individual and group therapy sessions, and consult with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

  • Collaborate with rehabilitation teams to develop and implement evidence-based interventions to improve patient outcomes

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatments, and progress

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care

  • Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent

  • New Jersey state license and certification in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Per Diem schedule with flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
