Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate / Stand-Up Reach Forklift Operator to join our warehouse operations team. This role is responsible for safely operating stand-up reach forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, store, and organize products and materials throughout the warehouse while following all company policies and safety procedures.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate stand-up reach forklifts to move products, equipment, and materials safely and efficiently
- Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into storage racks above floor height
- Pick palletized units from rack locations above floor height and prepare them for outbound shipment
- Load and unload materials onto and off pallets, skids, and lifting devices
- Use Radio Frequency (RF) scanning systems to select and record materials, weights, counts, and product conditions
- Maintain accurate inventory movement and warehouse organization
- Complete daily forklift inspections and maintenance checklists
- Monitor battery charge levels, clean and maintain batteries, and ensure equipment is placed at designated charging stations
- Follow all OSHA, regulatory, and company safety standards, policies, and procedures
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned
- Work with additional warehouse machinery and material handling equipment when needed
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Experience operating a stand-up reach forklift required
- RF scanner experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and work throughout scheduled shifts
- Forklift certification preferred or willingness to become certified
