Respiratory Therapist (RT)

• Current and valid RT license in the state of FL.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a respiratory, critical care, or long-term care setting.
• Excellent clinical skills with a focus on respiratory care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Manage and care for patients with respiratory needs, including airway management
• Provide high-quality respiratory care to residents, following established protocols and standards.
• Manage and maintain airways, including tracheostomy care
• Monitor and document residents' respiratory status and progress
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
• Educate residents and families on respiratory conditions and care techniques
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
