Metro Services is seeking to immediately fill Heat Treat Technician positions for a Manufacturing company in Frankfort, IN. This is a Temp-to-Hire job. Apply now!

Duties for this position include:

• Load and unload materials for heat treatment processes and ensure materials are properly organized for production
• Operate heat treat machinery safely and efficiently while monitoring equipment performance and adjusting settings as needed
• Perform basic troubleshooting on machinery and resolve process deviations to minimize downtime
• Identify potential equipment and process issues early and escalate concerns when necessary
• Complete and maintain accurate production and quality documentation for each heat treat operation
• Utilize the JD Edwards system to track materials, production status, inventory, and work processes
• Inspect and repair parts in the sort area as required
• Ensure all heat treat operations comply with safety standards, company protocols, and quality requirements

Compensation (USD):

$21.25/hr

Schedule:

2nd Shift
Monday – Friday
2:45 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions
• Commitment to maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection
• Ability to meet the physical demands of standing, walking, lifting, bending, climbing, and repetitive movement
throughout the shift
