Our firm is seeking an experienced senior attorney who is adept at handling a large caseload and familiar with all aspects of the trial process, particularly drafting pleadings, motions, notices, and working toward a resolution. Compensation:$150,000 - $300,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings
- Prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests/responses
- Anticipate, prepare for, and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration on behalf of clients
- Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs
- Stay updated on changing applicable laws and statutes on the local, state, and federal levels
Qualifications:
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills are required, as well as persuasive writing and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently while handling multiple files
- Five years of experience as a senior associate in the legal industry
- Four-year bachelor’s degree and successful completion of law school from an accredited law school
- Admitted to local and state bar associations
