Manhattan Day School is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and collaborative
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Special Education team for the coming school year 2026-2027. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with language-based learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) within a supportive, multidisciplinary educational environment.

As a member of our team, you will:
%CF; Provide individual and small-group speech-language therapy to students enrolled in
our Special Education programs.
%CF; Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP
goals.
%CF; Collaborate closely with teachers, occupational therapists, psychologists, social
workers, and families to support student success.
%CF; Participate in staff meetings and contribute to educational planning.
%CF; Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and therapy records.
%CF; Support students in developing communication, language, social interaction, and
academic readiness skills.


Qualifications
%CF; Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
%CF; New York State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility for licensure).
%CF; ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical
Fellowship candidates are encouraged to apply.
%CF; Minimum 3-5 years experience working with school-aged children.
%CF; Knowledge of language-based learning disabilities and familiarity with Autism
Spectrum Disorder.
%CF; Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
