Low Voltage Cable Technician

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Low Voltage Cable Technician for commercial installation projects in the Valdosta, GA area. This position involves installing, servicing, and troubleshooting low-voltage cabling and equipment in commercial environments only.

• Install and run low-voltage cable throughout commercial buildings

• Install cabling for security camera systems, telephone systems, and computer/server networks

• Terminate, test, label, and troubleshoot low-voltage wiring

• Assist with installation of cameras, data/network equipment, and related components

• Read and follow basic installation plans and work instructions

• Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and testing equipment

• Work safely and efficiently with other technicians and contractors

• Maintain a clean and professional work area

• Previous low-voltage, electrical, telecommunications, or structured cabling experience required

• Valid driver's license required

• Must be able to pass a background check

• Ability to use basic hand and power tools

• Comfortable working on ladders and in commercial construction environments

• Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials as needed

• Dependable attendance and transportation

• Strong teamwork and communication skills
