CNC/Automation Electrical Commissioning Technician

Make automated production run better, faster, and safer by wiring, installing, and commissioning the electrical systems that drive machine tools.

• Turn schematics and technical drawings into working hardware—accurately interpret all documentation to build exactly what’s required.
• Assemble and install control panels with precision, using the right hand and power tools for the job.
• Pinpoint and resolve electrical faults across machine tools and automation cells using advanced diagnostic tools and disciplined troubleshooting techniques.
• Integrate components and subsystems in partnership with engineering, aligning with electrical diagrams and product specifications.
• Execute preventive maintenance to protect uptime and extend equipment life.
• Continuously expand your knowledge of machine tool concepts, standards, and best practices.

• 5+ years in a Machine Tool Electrician or equivalent capacity.
• Fluency in reading/understanding blueprints and technical documentation.
• Ownership of a complete set of essential tools.
• Strong individual contributor who collaborates effectively in team settings.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel up to 20% (domestic and international).
• Comfort frequently lifting, moving, positioning, transporting, and installing equipment/materials exceeding 20 lbs.

This role mixes on‑site panel builds, commissioning at customer locations, and collaboration with engineering. Expect periods of travel aligned to commissioning and troubleshooting schedules.
