Responsibilities:

• Assist Physical Therapists in the treatment of patients with various medical conditions and injuries

• Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist

• Conduct initial patient evaluations and develop treatment plans, as directed by a Physical Therapist

• Provide patient education and training on exercises, techniques, and self-care strategies

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress

• Collaborate with the Physical Therapy team to ensure comprehensive care

• Demonstrate a high level of clinical expertise and technical proficiency

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Studies or related field preferred

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Must be certified by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and maintain certification through continuing education and professional development

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently

• Must have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and a passion for improving lives
