We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Physical Therapist (PT) to join a healthcare team in Alameda, California.
This is an exciting 15-week contract opportunity for a motivated Physical Therapist who is passionate about helping patients restore mobility, improve functional independence, and achieve meaningful rehabilitation goals.
The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach to every treatment session.
🩺 Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate patients' physical abilities, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings.
Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, mobility training, and other appropriate interventions.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and injury prevention.
Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress, and discharge plans accurately.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other members of the care team.
Promote patient safety and functional independence throughout the rehabilitation process.
Ensure all care is delivered in accordance with professional standards and facility policies.
15-week travel contract
35 hours per week

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
Current BLS certification, if required by the facility
Recent clinical Physical Therapy experience
Strong assessment, treatment-planning, and documentation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the interdisciplinary team
Commitment to providing safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care
