Health Science Adjunct - Human Genetics & Genomics Description
South College seeks applicants who are knowledgeable about, but not limited to, the following areas of Human Genetics and Genomics:
- Gene structure and function
- The manner in which traits and diseases are transmitted from parents to children
- The molecular basis of human traits and diseases
Candidates must show evidence the following:
Education
- A minimum of an acceptable master’s degree in the specific subject matter field (doctorate preferred)
OR
- An earned master’s or doctoral degree and satisfactory completion of 18 graduate semester hours in subject matter field and
Experience
- Experience teaching similar courses at a higher education institute.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching online.
