Now Hiring: Recreation Assistant
Responsibilities:
Lead and participate in activities like games, crafts, exercise sessions, and other group programs.
Provide one-on-one activities or modifications as needed based on individual resident assessments and care plans.
· Assist with activity planning and scheduling.
Communicate with residents, families, and staff about activities and programs.
Qualifications:
· Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.
· Ability to lead group programs.
· Ability to work independently or part of a group.
· Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
· Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
· Knowledge of elderly ill and/or disabled.
