Your ImpactAs a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you'll play a vital role in helping residents maximize their independence, confidence, and quality of life.
Working alongside our Occupational Therapists and interdisciplinary team, you'll help residents achieve meaningful goals while making a lasting difference every day.
Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Occupational Therapists (OTR/L) to implement individualized treatment plans
Deliver skilled occupational therapy interventions under the direction of the Occupational Therapist
Assist residents in improving performance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Encourage and motivate residents throughout their rehabilitation journey
Educate residents on adaptive equipment and techniques that promote independence
Monitor and report resident progress to the Occupational Therapist
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Ensure safe, effective, and resident-focused therapy sessions
Work closely with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes
Contribute to a positive and supportive rehabilitation environment
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Program
Current New York State OTA License
Skilled Nursing Facility or Rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Passion for helping residents achieve their highest level of independence
$34.00–$38.00 per Hour
