Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - South Pasadena, Florida

Join our team at Gulfport Nursing Center, a 126-bed skilled nursing facility located in beautiful Pasadena near the beaches! Currently the first floor is being renovated.

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our interdisciplinary team. As a PTA at Gulfport Nursing Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in the treatment of patients with a wide range of conditions, including neurological, musculoskeletal, and cardiopulmonary disorders

• Implement treatment plans as directed by physical therapists, including therapeutic exercises, modalities, and other interventions

• Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to physical therapists

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

• Completed associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program

• Current Florida licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant

• 0 years of experience as a PTA (new graduates welcome!)
