About the Role:
MEP Experts LLC is looking for a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team in Houston, TX! Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
- Perform conduit bending, wiring, and panel installations per NEC code standards
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults and equipment malfunctions
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other MEP trades on job sites
- Ensure all work meets local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations
- Inspect and test electrical systems using meters, testers, and other diagnostic tools
- Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License required
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on electrical experience in the field
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local Houston/Texas electrical regulations
- Proficiency in commercial and/or industrial electrical installations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Reliable, self-motivated, and a strong team player with excellent communication skills
