Physical Therapist (PT)
Job Description
FullShift Staffing is currently hiring Physical Therapists for school-based positions in the 2023-2024 school year. You will be tasked with promoting the physical, emotional, and social growth of the students participating in their programs. Location: Gilbert, AZ
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate/treat students with disabilities and maintain daily progress notes.
- Complete daily attendance records, write progress reports, and attend meetings.
- Provide care to children with various disabilities to promote their development in the school environment.
- Maintains continuing, detailed documented records of students known or suspected of having physical therapy needs.
- Aids in the process of forming physical therapy goals for students.
- Reviews and applies student’s individual’s goals.
- Forms and preps written treatment plans for each individual student.
- Protect students from preventable injury, discomfort, and/or illness.
- Report/document all unordinary events concerning student’s safety and development.
Minimum Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
· Arizona License to practice as a physical therapist.
· Prior experience working with children/pediatrics.
· Valid Driver’s License.
· Will need to successfully pass a background check, and drug test.
· Will require fingerprinting.
