Acute Occupational Therapist
Job Description
A 198-bed, Level III trauma center in Farmington, NM is seeking an experienced Acute Occupational Therapist. The facility serves the Four Corners region and offers a broad range of services including medical, surgical, rehabilitation, a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, inpatient behavioral health, day surgery, and extensive imaging and laboratory services.
The role. The Occupational Therapist will provide acute care OT services to patients across the hospital's diverse clinical units. The position requires the ability to evaluate and treat a varied patient population consistent with the breadth of services offered at this regional medical center, including surgical, medical, and rehabilitation cases. The therapist will collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support patient recovery and functional independence.
What we're looking for.
• At least 2 years of acute care experience
• BLS required upon submission. All other required certifications can be obtained after hire; please refer to Life Support Certification document in attachments.
• Open to candidates who do not hold New Mexico or Compact licensure. Candidates must obtain prior to start.
