Job Summary & Responsibilities
As a Field Service Electrician, you are the face of Sarasota Electrical. You will operate with a high degree of independence, driving to various residential and light commercial properties in and around Sarasota to diagnose, quote, and repair electrical issues.
Troubleshoot & Diagnose: Independently investigate, identify, and resolve complex electrical failures, shorts, and performance issues.
Small-Scale Installs: Efficiently execute smaller installations and upgrades, including panel changeouts, EV chargers, lighting retrofits, and circuit additions. One trip calls are more efficient.
Elite Customer Service: Clearly explain issues and solutions to homeowners and business managers (on their level) providing options with a friendly, professional attitude.
Manage Your Mobile Shop: Keep your company service van clean, organized, and properly stocked with inventory.
Digital Documentation: Use our easy-to-use dispatch/service software to accurately document job details, photos, and process customer payments on-site.
Qualifications & Requirements
The Expertise: Proven experience as a Residential/Light Commercial Service Electrician. You must be thoroughly educated in electrical codes and advanced troubleshooting.
The Mindset: Highly autonomous. You don't need someone looking over your shoulder to do the job right the first time.
The People Skills: Excellent communication skills, a neat professional appearance, and a courteous, customer-first personality. Our uniforms are Hawaiian Shirts.
The Essentials: Valid Driver’s License with a clean, record (required to drive company vehicle).
Physical Grit: Ability to navigate attics, crawl spaces, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs comfortably.
