Recreation Therapist to join our Community based Adult Day Health Service Program in Central islip
Job Description:
Responsible for conducting group and individual recreation programs assigned by the Recreation Supervisor
Responsible for documenting program attendance participation
Complete assigned paperwork and all other job tasks assigned by the Recreation Supervisor
Other duties as required
Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum 2-year degree in Therapeutic Recreation
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent computer skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Minimum 2-years experience in the field of Therapeutic Recreation
Working knowledge of the physical, psychological and behavioral needs of the registrants
