Cypress Cove Care Center is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our in-house rehabilitation team in Crystal River, FL. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a skilled nursing environment, with a strong focus on helping residents achieve maximum independence and quality of life.
Our in-house therapy model promotes collaboration, consistency of care, and strong relationships with residents and the interdisciplinary team.
Position Summary
As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving their ability to perform activities of daily living and functional tasks safely and independently.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and establish individualized plans of care
• Provide skilled OT services in accordance with physician orders and regulatory requirements
• Address ADLs, mobility, cognitive skills, and adaptive techniques
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive equipment and functional strategies
• Complete accurate and timely documentation per facility, state, and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support optimal resident outcomes
• Maintain compliance with professional, ethical, and facility standards
Qualifications
• Active Florida Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• In good standing with all regulatory and licensing boards
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred
• Familiarity with Net Health documentation system is a plus
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
