Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the admissions process from initial inquiry to resident move-in.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective residents, families, hospitals, and referral sources.

  • Conduct tours of the facility and effectively communicate the benefits of our services.

  • Verify insurance benefits and eligibility, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance.

  • Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and business office teams to ensure a seamless transition for new residents.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.

  • Develop and nurture relationships with hospitals, physicians, and discharge planners to generate referrals.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in admissions within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement systems, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private pay.

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide compassionate support to residents and families.

  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and Microsoft Office Suite.
