Position Overview

The Tower Communications Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Project Management Office (PMO), and field teams in the planning, coordination, and execution of communications tower projects. The Project Coordinator serves as the administrative and operational backbone of the team, managing documentation, logistics, security clearances, and communication flow between internal departments, subcontractors.

The Tower Communications Project Coordinator will also lead the development, coordination, and submission of proposals for tower communications construction projects. This role requires a cursory knowledge of RFP compliance, program management, government contracting, and understanding communications infrastructure. Additionally, ensures that all proposal efforts meet compliance, schedule, and quality standards.



Essential Responsibilities

  • Support Program Managers with daily project administration and milestone tracking. Assist in preparing project schedules, reports, and documentation for management and customer reviews.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel for field crews, including booking flights, lodging, and ground transportation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with DoD security regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining detailed records of inspections, preventive maintenance, and project updates.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance to generate Personnel Assignment Notices (PANs) and update staffing documentation
  • Provide data entry, document control, and report generation across multiple project management systems
  • Provide the business development team daily “scraped” results and recommendations for proposal effort pursuit using various search tools. If required and when directed, build an associated Pursuit Chart or Opportunity line item.





Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe PDF.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with proactive problem-solving abilities.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or related field.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in construction or telecommunications project support, ideally within DoD or federal contracts, administrative or project coordination experience, experience in federal contracting, proposal or program management.
  • Prior experience coordinating international or government-related travel.
  • Familiarity with DoD contracting requirements and documentation standards.
  • PMP or APMP certification.
  • Proven ability to facilitate multi-disciplinary teams under tight deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and government proposal compliance.
  • Exceptional writing, communication, and organizational skills.



Work Environment

  • Hybrid role with primary office-based coordination and some remote support.
