We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of professionals, working collaboratively to support students' communication and language development within educational settings. We are a therapist and woman-owned and operated company.Position Overview:As a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome communication challenges, improve their speech and language skills, and achieve their educational goals. Your expertise will be essential in promoting students' overall success and well-being in the school environment.Additional Details:The school year starts for employees on August 4, 2026. Anyone secured prior to that date will be anticipated to start with regular employees. This will allow the opportunity for training and caseload scheduling before students return on August 12, 2026.These positions would follow the district calendar for dates of employment from August 4, 2026, to May 27, 2027, with 190 working days.The caseload may be itinerant depending on the needs within the district.These are 40-hour work week positions with time built into the schedule for paperwork and documentation. No duties are assigned (e.g., bus duty, car rider duty). All caseloads are approximately 60-65 students.All schools potentially have a range of general education students needing speech/language therapy as well as 1-2 self-contained special education classrooms.Some elementary schools may also have 1-2 pre-kindergarten special education classes.We are open to CFYs.Our district has a strong infrastructure for SLP support with district-level SLI Staffing Specialists who assist with paperwork and training, an AAC specialist, and an ESE Director whose background is as an SLP.ResponsibilitiesThe Speech Language Pathologist will conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students' communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.Provide evidence-based speech and language pathology interventions and strategies to improve students' communication, articulation, fluency, and language skills.Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other members of the school-based team to create and implement strategies that support students' participation in the classroom and social activities.Monitor and document students' progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.Offer guidance and education to parents, teachers, and support staff on strategies to enhance students' communication skills and facilitate carryover into the classroom.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including session notes, progress reports, and billing documentation.Stay current with the latest research, best practices, and techniques in speech-language pathology.Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, team meetings, and school-based professional development opportunities.Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and ethical standards governing speech-language pathology services in schools.What our employees say about working for us:"Culture is friendly and inclusive.""Everyone is very supportive and willing to help each other."Qualifications:Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
