About the Role:

As a Certified Nurse Aide on our evening shift, you will be responsible for providing direct care to our residents, including assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, assisting with mobility and transferring residents, maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents and implementing resident care plans and programs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Assist with daily living activities, such as incontinence care and feeding

• Support resident mobility and transfers, including using mechanical lifts and other assistive devices

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance needs

• Implement resident care plans and programs

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and high-quality care

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in the state of Texas

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 1 year of experience in long-term care or a related field

• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents with minimal assistance

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and distractions

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
